Review
So this is kind of a hard book to review. The writing was not great. At times it reminded me of some of the very dry classic works of sci-fi like say Rama. However it is different from those as Moss wants to inject humanity into the cast, it just doesn't always work and the prose is a bit rough. Based on other reviews I'm very happy that I listened to this book. I didn't have to worry about commas and the narration was very good. Now, why am I rating this five stars? Well, this is one of the best thrillers I've ever read. The plot has a very simple, understandable hook and boy does Moss run with it. The book moves very fast but has a lot to cover. I found the science involved pretty believable and my suspension of disbelieve was never threatened. While the core concept is very strong (alien agents preparing the earth for invasion by neutralizing the world's nuclear arsenal) Moss improves on it when fleshing out the details. I hope the next book as a more aggressive editor because this story is great and deserves it. I'm looking forward to it.
